At Active Zone Outdoor (AZO), we believe that sports, outdoor recreation and experiential education can create meaningful environmental and social change.

Our mission extends beyond organising outdoor activities. We aim to make outdoor experiences accessible to everyone, protect the natural environment and strengthen communities through inclusive participation, education and volunteering.

Sustainability, social inclusion and responsible management are central to our organisational values. Building on these principles, we are developing a comprehensive Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Strategy to guide our long-term development, strengthen accountability and measure our contribution to society and the environment.

Environmental Responsibility

Protecting the natural environments where we live, learn and play.

We are committed to promoting environmentally responsible sports and outdoor activities, developing sustainability-oriented projects and strengthening environmental education from an early age.

A key priority is the progressive assessment of the environmental impact of our sports and outdoor activities, helping us identify opportunities to reduce waste, minimise resource consumption and protect natural ecosystems.

Social Responsibility & Inclusion

Making outdoor experiences accessible to everyone.

We believe that financial circumstances, disability, gender or social background should not prevent people from participating in sports and outdoor activities.

Our priorities include providing free or affordable activities, adapting outdoor experiences for people with disabilities, prioritising young people with fewer opportunities and encouraging women's participation in sports.

Through volunteering, non-formal education and community engagement, we also aim to strengthen wellbeing, social cohesion and equal opportunities.

Governance & Accountability

Building trust through responsible and ethical management.

We recognise that positive social and environmental impact must be supported by sound organisational practices.
